Cochise Head dominates this high-elevation landscape within the northern reaches of the Chiricahua National Monument. The terrain is defined by a complex network of canyons and peaks, including the prominent Timber Mtn and Sugarloaf Mtn, which are surrounded by the vast Coronado National Forest. This 2014 survey documents a region where access is primarily via forest roads such as E Bonita Canyon Dr and E Faraway Ranch Rd.
