2018 Map of Sand Wells

USGS Topo · Published 2018

About this map

Sand Wells sits in the southeastern corner of this Pima County landscape, a localized point of settlement within the arid expanse of the Gu Achi District. The terrain is defined by the drainage patterns of the Ko Vaya Wash, which cuts a wide path through the central and western sections of the quadrangle. High ground is concentrated at Black Mtn and the western edge of the Comobari Mountains, where the elevation rises significantly from the surrounding desert floor.
