Twin Sisters Mountain dominates the western portion of this quadrangle, featuring the prominent peaks of North Twin and South Twin. This high-altitude landscape is defined by the sharp Sister Divide and a series of alpine waters, including Elbow Lake, Lake Wiseman, and Lake Doreen. The terrain is managed as part of the Mount Baker National Forest and the Mount Baker Wilderness, protecting a network of creeks that feed into the Middle Fork Nooksack River and South Fork Nooksack River.
