Emmanuel Mission stands as a primary landmark in this corner of the Navajo Nation, situated amidst a network of washes and canyons in Apache County. The settlement at Totacon anchors the northern portion of the quadrangle, where Sweetwater Wash and Kit Sili Wash converge. The landscape is defined by the prominent Walker Butte in the southwest and the deep carvings of Alcove Canyon and Tseligaideeza Canyon. This arid terrain is supported by water sources like Salt Spring and the winding course of Walker Creek. A network of tribal routes, including Indian Rte-35 and Indian Rte-5054, provides the essential infrastructure for the small communities and rural outposts of Tseh Any and its surrounding desert plateaus.
