1999 Map of Bacon Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2002

About this map

Baker Lake dominates the northwest corner of this terrain, where the waters are fed by the glacial runoff of Shannon Creek and Chadwick Creek. The landscape is a complex meeting point of administrative boundaries, as the North Cascades National Park and the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest converge near high summits like Bacon Peak and Hagan Mountain. Much of the central area is preserved within the Noisy Diobsud Wilderness, a name derived from the prominent drainages of Noisy Creek and Diobsud Creek.
