Lake Superior defines the northern edge of this Keweenaw Peninsula landscape, where the shoreline is deeply indented by Agate Harbor and Grand Marais Harbor. The interior reveals a rugged topography characterized by prominent heights such as Mt Lookout, Gratiot Mtn, and Mt Bohemia. These ridges are traversed by the famous Brockway Mountain Dr, providing passage through a terrain of numerous inland water bodies including Lake Bailey, Lake Upson, and Gull Lake.
