The confluence of the Colorado River and the Eagle River anchor this topographic study, where the settlement of Dotsero serves as a vital junction for both water and transport. This 2013 survey illustrates a landscape defined by dramatic geological features, most notably the Dotsoro Crater and the rugged transition from Monegal Ridge down to the riverbanks. Local history is preserved in the location of the Dotsero Cem and the Dotsero Warm Springs south of the main river bend.
