Snake Butte dominates the northern landscape of this Agency District region in Blaine County, serving as a prominent landmark above the surrounding plains. The terrain is defined by a network of drainage systems, including the headwaters and branches of N Br White Bear Cr and S Br White Bear Cr in the north, and Fifteenmile Cr further south. The land use is clearly marked by the large Bison Grazing Field, reflecting the contemporary agricultural and conservation practices of the Fort Belknap Reservation. In the southern portion of the map, the landscape shifts toward Saint Johns Coulee and the banks of Peoples Cr. A network of rural routes, such as Timber Ridge Rd, Rte 140, and Rte 128, provides access through these rolling grasslands and coulees, tracing the paths of modern transport across traditional lands.
