Indian Hot Springs marks a rare hydrologic point of interest where the Bruneau River and Jarbidge River converge in the high desert of Owyhee County. This 2020 survey illustrates the dramatic verticality of Bruneau Canyon, a deep incision through the plateau that separates the Diamond A Desert from the Inside Desert. The landscape is characterized by expansive benches and drainage features such as Hot Springs Bench and Big Lake Draw, which reveal the complex topography of this arid region.
