Chinle Valley dominates this high-desert landscape in northern Arizona, where the sprawling Chinle Wash and its seasonal tributaries define the geography. The terrain is marked by significant geological formations, most notably the towering Round Rock and its smaller counterpart, Little Round Rock, which stand as prominent landmarks in the southeastern section. Further north, the Rock Window and the expansive Carson Mesa provide dramatic vertical relief against the valley floor.
