Stollsteimer Cr flows through the northern reaches of this Colorado landscape, passing the small settlement of Dyke. The terrain is characterized by a series of deep drainages and prominent landforms, including Hurt Canyon, Lonetree Canyon, and the distinct Broken Off Point. Much of the western portion of the map is protected as part of the San Juan National Forest, where landmarks like Haystack Mountain rise above the surrounding valleys.
