1998 Map of Mc Laughlin Bridge

USGS Topo · Published 2001

About this map

Santa Fe Trail tracks across the southern portion of this high plains landscape, following the course of Alamos Creek. This late 20th-century revision captures a rugged drainage network defined by Corrumpa Creek and its many tributaries, including Alamosilla Creek and Rafael Creek. The importance of water management in this arid region is clearly visible through the presence of the Rohrer Windmill, numerous springs, and extensive Levees protecting the creek basins.
