Valle sits as the primary settlement in this high-desert landscape, located south of the Kaibaib National Forest boundary. The area is defined by a sparse but essential network of water catchments, such as Osborne Tank, Antelope Tank, and Steel Rim Tank, which indicate the necessity of water management in this arid Coconino County terrain. The drainage of Molly Ann Draw and Miller Wash cut through the land, providing a natural structure to the topography near Red Hill.
