2011 Map of Mount Shuksan

USGS Topo · Published 2011

About this map

Mount Shuksan and its surrounding peaks define this high-elevation landscape in the North Cascades as it was surveyed in the early twenty-first century. The map highlights a complex network of glacial ice, including the West Nooksack Glacier, East Nooksack Glacier, and Crystal Glacier, which feed the headwaters of the North Fork Nooksack River and Baker River. A notable concentration of alpine features appears around the central mass, with the Summit Pyramid and Nooksack Tower rising above the deep Nooksack Cirque.
