Pemaquid Neck and the village of New Harbor define the northwestern corner of this coastal survey, where the land meets the expansive Muscongus Bay. The maritime character of the area is evident in the dense network of named hazards and landmarks, ranging from the New Harbor Sunken Ledges near the harbor entrance to the more distant Eastern Egg Rock and Egg Rock North Ledge.
