Soza Mesa rises as a dominant landform in this high-desert portion of Cochise County, defined by the deep incisions of Soza Wash and the perennial course of the San Pedro River. The landscape is characterized by a network of drainage basins and canyons, including Wildcat Canyon and Bass Canyon, which feed into the valley floor. Human activity is concentrated along the river corridor and the local road system, which includes N Cascabel Rd and W Sandy Flats Rd.
