Theodore and the surrounding southwestern suburbs of Mobile are defined by a complex network of coastal waterways and expanding residential developments. The terrain is characterized by low-lying drainages like Halls Mill Creek and Rabbit Creek, which feed into the Middle Fork Deer River and Alligator Bayou near Hollingers Island. This 2014 survey documents the dense suburban infill at Tillmans Corner and newer neighborhoods such as Quail Run and Crestview.
