Weiser Ridge dominates the center of this terrain, separating the Weiser Valley to the west from the drainage networks of the Moapa Valley to the east. The landscape is defined by the complex topography of the North Muddy Mountains and California Ridge, where the eastern edge of the Mojave Desert meets these prominent uplifts. This 2021 survey documents a contemporary trail system, including the Main Trl and the specialized Bikepacking: The Plateau Passage Trl, which navigate the arid canyons.
