Woodhull serves as the primary hub of this Steuben County landscape, situated at the confluence of Tuscarora Creek and its south branch. The terrain is defined by a series of high ridges and deep valleys, including Norway Ridge and Earl Beatty Hill, which dictated the early settlement patterns and the winding path of rural routes like Old State Rd. Numerous small burial grounds are preserved across the quadrangle, such as the Five Corners Cem near the intersection of Welty Rd and the Chenango Cem tucked into the hills to the southwest.
