Beartrap Meadows and the high-elevation landscape of Johnson County are the focus of this 2015 topographic study. The terrain is defined by its drainages and early ranching infrastructure, featuring a series of named water catchments including Seven Elk Reservoir, Simmon Reservoir, and Eychaner Reservoir. A network of unpaved roads, such as Rome Hill Rd and Hazelton Rd, provide access across the plateau.
