Big Springs Ranch sits at the heart of this high desert drainage system, where several major creeks converge in southwestern Idaho. The area is defined by a network of seasonal watercourses and man-made catchments, including Pole Creek Reservoir Number Three and Dry Creek Reservoir Number Nine, which support local ranching operations. The confluence of Big Springs Creek and Camas Creek near the ranch headquarters illustrates the essential role of water management in this arid landscape. Navigation through this portion of Owyhee County is primarily provided by Battle Creek Rd, which traces the path of Dry Creek through the eastern half of the map. Other notable landmarks include the Antelope Flat Reservoir and the literal Big Springs which provide critical water sources in an otherwise dry environment.
