The high ridges of the Huachuca Mountains dominate the northwestern corner of this borderland survey, rising to the summit of Bob Thompson Peak. This area is preserved within the Coronado National Forest and the Coronado National Memorial, marking the rugged terrain north of the international boundary between the United States of America and Estados Unidos Mexicanos. The landscape transitions from these steep slopes into a grid of rural ranch roads and residential tracks, such as E Rockfort Ranch Rd and S Brown Ranch Rd.
