The high plains of the Larimer Co Weld Co border define this northern Colorado landscape, where the ranching heritage of the region meets modern transportation corridors. The terrain is etched by seasonal watercourses such as Spring Cr and Indian Cr, which feed the Indian-er Reservoir in the northeast. This area maintains its open character, anchored by the small settlement of Bulger along the major interstate route that bisects the western half of the quadrangle.
