In the northwestern corner, Claire City stands as a focal point of settlement, characterized by short local thoroughfares like Ulstad Ave and Feeney Ave. The area’s heritage is distinctly marked by its dispersed burial grounds, which reflect the early ethnic and religious clusters of the prairie. These include Saint Boniface Cem near the town center, and the rural Nidaros Cem, Norway Cem, and Stavanger Cem further afield. To the northeast, the small community of Hammer sits along CR-14, connected to the wider region by a network of numbered avenues and streets that define the agricultural landscape of the 21st century.
