1986 Map of Deadmans Basin Reservoir

USGS Topo · Published 1986

About this map

The Deadmans Basin Reservoir dominates the landscape of the central Montana plains where Wheatland Co meets Golden Valley Co. Fed by the Deadmans Basin Supply Canal and drained via the Deadmans Basin Outlet Canal, the reservoir serves as a critical water management feature for the surrounding prairie. To the south, the Musselshell River meanders across the territory, flanked by an Old Railroad Grade that traces the historic transportation corridor through the small settlement of Barber.
