About this map

Milk Ranch sits at the center of this drainage network where the Baker Co Malheur Co line crosses the high country. In this 1990 provisional survey, the landscape is defined by the steep descent of multiple drainages toward the north and south. The northern portion of the map is dominated by the Burnt River valley, which receives water from Big Creek, Pine Creek, and Rail Gulch. To the south, Boulder Creek and Johnson Creek carve through the terrain, eventually converging near Picnic Boulder Cr.
