About this map

The settlement of Drummond serves as the focal point of this 2005 Forest Service revision, positioned along the shores of Drummond Lake. This northern Wisconsin landscape is defined by the dense wetlands and glacially-carved waters of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. To the north, the Flynn Lake Semi-Primitive Non-Motorized Area and the Big Brook Semi-Primitive Non-Motorized Area reflect a commitment to preserving the quiet character of the timberlands, intersected only by the North Country National Scenic Trail.
