Eden Valley serves as a focal point in this high-desert landscape of Sweetwater County, where the storage of water at Eden Reservoir has long supported local ranching and agriculture. The terrain is defined by the drainage networks of Little Sandy Cr, Dry Sandy Cr, and Pacific Cr, which converge in a region shaped by historic migration. A significant corridor for westward expansion is preserved here in the form of the California - Mormon Rd, tracing the paths of nineteenth-century emigrants across the sagebrush flats. Prominent landmarks such as Round Top provide navigational relief against the broad township boundaries of the Red Desert area. Modern access is represented by a grid of rural routes, including Farson Little Sandy Rd and Eden Ryepatch Rd, which connect isolated homesteads to the primary water sources and transit corridors.
