English Center serves as the focal point of this Lycoming County survey, situated at the confluence of Little Pine Creek and English Run. The village is connected by the historic English Center Suspension Bridge, a key crossing in this deeply dissected terrain. The landscape is defined by its complex network of named drafts, hollows, and runs, reflecting a geography where movement was traditionally dictated by the watercourses. To the southwest, the small settlement of Carsontown and the Carsontown Cem sit along the banks of the creek, while Brookside marks the southeastern corner of the quadrangle.
