The landscape is dominated by significant drainage systems, notably the branching of North Hatch Canyon and South Hatch Canyon, which carve through the arid terrain. To the north, The Big Ridge provides a prominent natural boundary, while Buckacre Point marks a distinct promontory in the western section of the quadrangle. The southern reach of the survey area transitions into the Red Benches and the expansive formations known as The South Block.
