1996 Map of Fox Lake

USGS Topo · Published 1999

About this map

The High Uintas, spanning the Summit Co Duchesne Co boundary, are defined by a dense concentration of alpine lakes and dramatic ridgelines. High-altitude landmarks such as Thompson Peak, North Burro Peak, and South Burro Peak overlook a landscape carved by water, including Fox Lake, the Kidney Lakes, and Island Lake. This area, managed as part of the Ashley National Forest and Wasatch-Cache National Forest, shows limited human infrastructure beyond remote backcountry resources like Corral Meadows and the Shale Creek Bridge.
