About this map

Grover and the high ridge settlements of northern Pennsylvania are captured here at the triple-county junction of Bradford, Lycoming, and Sullivan. This landscape is defined by its deep drainages and narrow valley bottoms, where Towanda Cr and Schrader Cr carve through the plateau. A clear legacy of the region's industrial past is visible in the network of timbering and mountain roads, most notably Old Railroad Grade Rd, which traces the winding path of a former narrow-gauge line once vital to the logging camps and tanneries of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
