Baboquivari Valley dominates the central landscape of this Pima County quadrangle, where seasonal drainages like Anegan Wash and Pavo Kug Wash define the desert floor. The small community of Haivana Nakya is situated south of W Crowhang Village, connected to the wider region by Indian Rte 30. The topography is marked by significant elevations at the northwest and southeast corners, specifically the Comobari Mountains and the Quinlan Mountains. To the northeast, the settlement of Schuchk sits near the upper reaches of the valley. This 2021 survey illustrates a desert environment where human activity is largely centered around the primary routes of Indian Rte 35 and the eastern settlement of San Vicente, which is nestled near the San Vicente Wash.
