Outside the primary town site, the survey documents smaller communities and water management features such as Twodot to the west and the Springwater Colony in the northeast. The surrounding terrain is defined by its drainage network, with Alkali Creek, Antelope Creek, and Lebo Creek feeding into the main river system. This area represents a typical Montana high-plains environment where the transition from rail-dependent town centers to isolated agricultural colonies is clearly visible.
