The 2019 survey documents a network of residential developments and established communities, from the larger centers of Hendersonville and Mills River to the smaller settlements of Etowah and Horse Shoe. Significant family history and genealogy detail is preserved through the mapping of numerous burial grounds, including Beulah Cem, Mill Pond Cem, and the Old Beulah Cem.
