Significant drainage features like Tuber Canyon, Jail Canyon, and Williams Canyon descend toward the valley floor, while Wildrose Canyon Wash and Wildrose Wash trace the western edge of the desert landscape.

Evidence of historical activity is marked by various prospects scattered across the high elevations, particularly near the ridges between canyons. On the lower, flatter terrain near the southern margin, the presence of a Landing Strip and the low-lying Alkali Flat indicate the transition from steep vertical relief to the desert basin. This provisional map records the network of 4wd trails that provided the only vehicle access to these remote canyon reaches during the late twentieth century.
