Jumpoff Hill rises as a prominent landmark in this upland Idaho landscape, situated along the county line where Bonneville Co and Bingham Co meet. The area's hydrology is dominated by the winding path of the Grays Lake Outlet, which draws from numerous seasonal and perennial mountain tributaries including Bailey Cr, Hell Cr, and Carter Cr. The rugged character of the terrain is evident in the deep incisions of Sawmill Canyon and the high elevations of Pine Mtn.
