Natural Bridges National Monument anchors the northwestern corner of this high-desert landscape, where the canyon systems of White Canyon and Armstrong Canyon converge. The topography is defined by the massive Grand Gulch Plateau, a high tableland dissected by deep drainages such as Kane Gulch and Tuwa Canyon. These deep incisions create a complex network of geological features, including the Stimper Arch and the distinctive Sphinx Rock formation.
