About this map

Ashley National Forest covers much of this high-elevation landscape in Duchesne County, characterized by a series of deep canyons and prominent ridges. The geography is defined by the sharp transition at the southern edge of the sheet where the Bad Land Cliffs overlook Argyle Canyon. Numerous drainages like Indian Canyon and Cottonwood Canyon cut through the terrain, separated by high ground such as Tabby Ridge and Wild Horse Ridge.
