The Merrimack River serves as the central artery for this industrial and academic corridor, flowing south through Hooksett and into the northern neighborhoods of Manchester. This 2018 survey reveals the dense urban development of northern Manchester, including the campus of Southern New Hampshire Univ and the Manchester Community College near the riverbanks. The crossing at Amoskeag Bridge anchors the southern portion of the map, while to the north, the landscape transitions into the hills and ponds of South Hooksett and Martins Corner.
