Snoqualmie National Forest dominates this high-elevation landscape in Yakima County, defined by its flat-topped mesas and deep drainages. The namesake Meeks Table and its counterpart Devils Table stand as prominent landmarks above a network of forest development roads, such as Nat For Dev RD 1500 and Nat For Dev RD 1600. These routes trace the contours of a complex hydrologic system where Nile Creek and Rattlesnake Creek collect runoff from numerous smaller forks and springs.
