O. H. Ivie Reservoir dominates the northern landscape where the Colorado River meets the confluence of the Concho and Coleman county line. The terrain is defined by a complex drainage system feeding into the reservoir, primarily through the various branches of Mustang Creek. These waterways, including E Fork Mustang Cr, W Fork Mustang Cr, and Middle Fork Mustang Cr, carve through the West Texas ranch land, creating a network of draws and ridges.
