National Canyon and its complex drainage systems define this high-altitude landscape in Northern Arizona. This 2018 survey documents a remote corner of the Coconino plateau, where survival and movement are dictated by the presence of vital water catchments like National Tank, Potters Hole, and Sink Tank. These features are connected by seasonal drainages including Albers Wash and Sandstone Wash, which cut through the township boundaries of t30n r7w and t29n r6w.
