2021 Map of Old Ibex Pass

About this map

Death Valley National Park occupies the central and northern reaches of this landscape, where the Ibex Hills rise above the desert floor. The ephemeral Amargosa River cuts through the basin, passing near the Saratoga Spring area as it flows toward the heart of Death Valley. This region is a critical convergence point for three major geographic features: the southern extent of the Amargosa Range, the northern fringes of the Mojave Desert, and the rugged peaks of the Avawatz Mountains in the south.
