Penobscot Farm sits along a bend of the West Branch Penobscot River in the North Maine Woods, an area defined by its complex network of waterways and timber-access roads. This 2018 survey documents a landscape of dense wetlands and tributaries, where the river meets Lobster Stream and Beaver Brook amidst the undulating terrain of Piscataquis County. The southeastern portion of the map is dominated by the waters of Little Lobster Lake and its associated Little Lobster Stream.
