Quien Sabe Valley and the smaller Little Quien Sabe Valley occupy a secluded drainage basin within the Diablo Range, straddling the border between Merced and San Benito counties. The landscape is defined by its seasonal watercourses, including Quien Sabe Creek and Santa Ana Creek, which carve through a network of prominent ridges and summits such as Potrero Peak and Cibo Peak.
