Uinta National Forest land defines this portion of the high country, where the landscape is marked by a complex system of drainages and prominent ridgelines. The terrain is structured around the central heights of Raspberry Knoll and the long expanse of Bobby Duke Ridge, which forms a significant barrier between various hollows. Water sources are frequent but localized, including Little Red Spring and the headwaters of Currant Creek.
