Red Mtn and the northern reaches of the Black Rock Range dominate this high-desert landscape in northern Nevada. The terrain is defined by a complex network of drainage systems, including Slumgullion Cr, Colman Cr, and Soldier Cr, which carve through the volcanic uplands. These seasonal watercourses lead away from the heights of Summit Lake Mtn and toward the notable Summit Lake at the northern edge of the map.
