Saint Croix Lake and its surrounding Maine timberlands define this remote Aroostook County landscape. The settlement of Howe Brook sits at the northern tip of the lake, while the smaller community of Little Canada occupies the eastern shore. This 2024 survey captures a terrain dominated by significant ridges and watercourses, including Weeksboro Ridge and Long Brook Ridge, which overlook a complex network of streams like Saint Croix Stream and Roll Dam Brook. To the south, the settlement of Weeksboro provides a point of reference near the base of the ridge.
