Entiat River headwaters and the high serrated ridges of the Chelan Mountains define this high-elevation wilderness within the Wenatchee National Forest. This 2017 survey shows a landscape dominated by dramatic vertical relief, from the granite spires of Saska Peak and Emerald Peak to the deep glacial basins containing Larch Lakes and Myrtle Lake. The drainage network is particularly dense, with the N Fork Entiat River and its numerous tributaries like Anthem Cr carving through the steep terrain.
